Mimosas and Manhattan I Christmas in the Capital

There is no better way to spend Christmas than with your family and friends at home. Home for me, as I have blogged about before, is our’s nations capital. Growing up in the DC area, you tend to forget about the beauty and history which is right outside of your door. As I get older however, I try to always make a trip to take advantage of the beautiful city. Whether I am socializing at the bars in Dupont or channeling my inner history buff at the archives museum (pictured here), DC and its fashion, are really on the rise.

Here I am wearing some of my black friday purchases I got with Courtney. My forever 21 poncho goes with just about everything however I chose to dress it up with Forever 21 Sleek over-the-knee boot and a bold and fun gold Gemma Simone Leger necklace. I purchases my bag, which is perfect for a stroll around the city or fit a laptop in for class, at a leather market in Florence. The Michael Kors Hamilton tote, is a pricey, yet alternative option.
