Courtney's Brooklyn Apartment Tour & Links

The feeling of being completely MOVED IN. What a sigh of relief. We are feeling completely settled in our new Williamsburg (Brooklyn) apartment. Everything really came together nicely and we couldn’t be happier with the apartment as well as the private outdoor space. This is truly a dream apartment for both of us!

Moving over to the kitchen! For those who have followed us for awhile, you know that our previous Manhattan kitchen did not have an oven and was TEENY TINY. This kitchen is such an upgrade from what we had! I know to those that don’t live in NYC (you probably think this is still so small lol) but for New Yorker’s being able to have a dishwasher & oven is the dream!

Above is our current WFH setup! As of now the majority of our friends in NYC are work from home until 2021. I will always be WFH but this has all been very new to Kyle! It has been nice having him around but we definitely wanted to get a nice desk set up. The desk pictured here actually came installed in the apartment. However I found a very similar one and linked below!

One of my favorite parts of the entire apartment is this entry way set up. The above entertainment center we actually used as a TV stand in our last apartment. Since our TV came with the new apartment and already mounted to the wall, we decided to instead use the stand for storage and as an entry way item.

All of the bedding we took with us from our last apartment! Which has been so nice. We upgraded to this new headboard that came with the apartment! We liked it so much we decided to keep it and sell our old one on FB Marketplace (which is the best thing ever btw.). I also was able to maximize a small awkward corner in our bedroom for extra clothing storage space. You can find more on that via this IG Reel!

We have been blessed in this apartment to be able to have TWO bathrooms! When we first moved in, I was almost wishing instead of having my own bathroom, I’d have a walk in closet there. However after living here a month, I don’t think I could ever go back to one bathroom!! Some people have told me, it’s the secret to a healthy marriage. 😉

We have been truly blessed with this private outdoor space. Finding this diamond in the rough apartment has been such a major upgrade to not having any outdoor space previously! It has been so much fun putting together this terrace and making it our own! A few things we found on FB Marketplace but I linked below for your convenience. 🙂

Lastly we have our own private nook table area! This is not an outdoor table or chairs but there is an overhang above us and it helps shield from the rain, which is great!
