First post up from living in Brooklyn! I have had admittedly the craziest first two weeks in the city. I have loved some moments but also cried about some moments. Upon arriving to my apartment in Williamsburg I realized that my whole box of shoes/jewelry I shipped were stolen. Including a new pair of Sam Edelman boots, heels and my new Timberlands. As sad as it was, and tears DID HAPPEN, I learned life goes on and shoes are replaceable. I also learned with that sad come the happy moments. Which has been almost every other moment of living in New York. After two summer internships in the city and an immense 22 years in Indiana, I was more than ready for a change. I have truly embraced every little thing I have encountered since being here. I have been reunited with my Lower East Side Bars and the NYC Pickle Festival but also meeting new places like my home of Brooklyn!! Couldn’t be happier that this is just the beginning.
