Dress | Nasty Gal – $50!
Heels | Michael Kors – old (similar)
These pictures!! To begin this post I have to write a love letter to my favorite photographer in the world Julie Kennedy. We met after she transferred into my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta at Indiana University, sophomore year. We lived together in the sorority house junior year and between me, Julie and our other roomie Abby we shared a 10×10 box room and many memories. Julie not only shares the exact same humor as myself but also the same sense in fashion and creativity. We are inspired by the same things and share the same love in candle scents, netflix movies and sometimes even BOYS! I feel so lucky to have you in my life and capturing these moments together. When I say “I don’t know what I’ll do without you,” I mean it.
Julie recently just moved to Chicago and lives in the most perfect neighborhood Lincoln Park. For Labor Day Weekend I decided to spend Thursday thru Monday visiting some of my best friends//sorority sisters in Chicago. I recently added it up and 21 members of my pledge class now live in the Chi!! Everyone transfer to NYC please!! So to say the least this was a jammed packed weekend. Some of my highlights were of course these pictures at Cloud Gate aka The Bean, bottomless mimosa brunch (of course) at Zella’s, and your typical BYOB Chicago brunch at Jam n’ Honey right by Depaul campus in Lincoln Park. I have been to Chitown a few times before this trip with family and have always, always loved this city. Although I am not beginning my career journey here, I am so happy I will always have a place to visit and call a 3rd & 4th home.
Note: I did have to wear a nude slip under the Nasty Gal dress because of how shear it is! I copied some options below.

Andrea, thank you! We got there extremely early so we could beat the tourist crowds!
These photos are gorgeous! I saw that dress on Nasty Gal and I was on the fence about it but you're definitely swaying my decision towards buying it! Gorgeous!
Katherine! I adoreeeee it. I did get a medium though and wish I would've gone with the small but it is still my favorite dress for fall!
Gotta love Chicago! I used to live there and I miss it all the time (except in the winter) 😉 Beautiful pics!

Mil, that's what everyone says. You will fall in love with the city in the summer but come cold weather you want to hide in your apartment all day!
