Coloring myself very happy in this post! While shopping during fashion week I saw this amazing crew neck from across the store at Forever 21. As I mentioned in my last post I LOVE over sized clothing and sometimes I find myself shopping in the plus size sections of stores and let me just say, Forever 21 has an amazing selection for curvy women. I found this sweatshirt standing out in the middle of the section and without even trying it on, I bought it. I have gone between wearing this as a dress or a shirt but loved this look paired with distressed denim especially. I also recently came across these Public Desire heels… and YES I AM OBSESSED, they spend the majority of their time on a shelf in my room, where I just stare at them.
I also wanted to share a little secret about the majority of our photo shoots. Almost all of our photos are taken between the times of 7:30am to 8:45am on Wednesday or Thursday mornings (Shout out to our photog Lauren here.. We love you for this). As we both work full-time, it is hard to shoot as much content as we want to share with you all. So we have comprised and our compromise is sleep. I myself love this, because during the week I am very much in “work mode.” I want to get as much accomplished as often and quickly as I can. In comparison on the weekends my focuses are friends, food, exploring and drinking mimosas, of course!!
For any bloggers having trouble with time maintenance I strongly suggest this solution. The morning light is absolutely gorgeous and it gives you an excuse to have two coffees throughout the day!
P.S… This post was written at my Grandma and Poppy’s House, surrounded by love, hugs and chocolate covered pretzels!! Thanks to you two for being my #1 fans since I was baby. I will always cherish the stories and memories I share with you both. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you guys!!!
xx

Mornings really are the BEST time to shoot!
I love that you guys talk about behind the scenes things involved with running a fashion blog. You two are doing great! I love reading your posts. It makes me wish I lived in NYC (not enough to move there though).
