We kicked off Courtney’s birthday month this past weekend and really wanted to start it with a bang and do something special. We are millennials, so let’s get real…we love
apps. Apps for finding our future hubbies, apps for getting a random car to pick
us up, apps for making our teeth whiter in pictures (guilty) and apps that can make you conveniently
live like a Queen for a day.

We were introduced to a new app, Shotclock which is basically
a virtual marketplace for really dope flash-sale experiences. Since we are pretty last minute and the stuff on Living Social just wasn’t going to cut it, we downloaded the app and scrolled through to
see what kind of NYC experiences we could do. Basically we could choose from
various rare ultra-lux experiences like a Helicopter ride to the Hampton’s
(unfortunately this year we couldn’t quite swing that), High Tea at The Crosby Hotel
or a 4-course prix fix dinner at Tao Downtown. After some bickering
(Courtney not me)
we settled on heading to one of NYC’s top boutique hotels, The Crosby Hotel for ‘High Tea’. Even though it was a pretty last minute decision, we booked the luxe experience straight
through the app and when we got there, everything was set up waiting for us –
scoot over Queen Bae you are not the only royalty around here anymore. Basically, this app is the answer to all things special occasions aka hello Birthday, anniversary, Easter, proposals (jk?).
