While living in Bloomington, IN, I sometimes feel like it is hard to switch up your look. As a senior going to the bars (a good amount) you get in a routine of what you “are supposed to wear,” the typical legging and sweater combo. But I don’t want to fall into that constant rulebook. I feel like just because you are living in the Midwest, there shouldn’t be anything stopping you from dressing like you’re going out in NYC. I never want girls to feel like you can’t be yourself and stand out just because you don’t want to be judged. I wore this outfit out to Bloomington’s bar Kilroy’s Sports on a Thursday night and yes I looked a little out of place but I felt like myself!! As silly as it sounds there is something empowering about not following the rules, even if it is just with a simple outfit switch up. All in all this is the perfect going out outfit, when you are looking to switch it up! Although the bodysuit is a little cold right now with the open back, it is the perfect surprise to a basic turtleneck front.
