This look for me was all about the styling! I have seen this skirt floating around a lot in the blogsphere (for good reason) since it is the perfect skirt for the season. So I wanted to make this look stand out a bit more since it is everywhere! I decided to go as bold as it would let me. I have had this draped Nasty Gal top for about a year and last wore it in these 2014 Fall pics, but because the back is so dramatic I thought with the fitted skirt, it would stand on its own. Speaking of old, these heels are FOUR YEARS OLD! I mean 1) the fact I bought these when I was 18 is bold but 2) I am convinced these are not going out of style, ever. 
There are so many fashion bloggers out there that have never repeated a piece of clothing in their pictures. To me that’s not really blogging or real life. Every normal girl wears and rotates pieces constantly and through season to season. Reworking items is part of being stylish. I swear my black fringe bag is probably sick of being photographed but hey it is the ONLY purse I have! How’s that for a self proclaimed “fashion blogger.” So, don’t be afraid to mix in a statement skirt a couple times. Girls also have this tendency to think that boys/other girls remember every article they have worn to every single party they have ever been… newsflash no one does, UNLESS you are Miley Cyrus.
