Watch out New York. It’s Girls Night. So basically it is time to put on a flirty dress and head out on the town with your gals. In my opinion, “girls night” is the best night. With my group of friends, our evening generally looks a lot like this:
6pm: Begin Getting Ready
7pm: Open door for seamless sushi order
8pm: Put on a sexy but “not-trying-too-hard” @topshop dress
8:30pm: Blast Spicegirls for pump up music
10pm: Head to @NoFun, @HotelChantelle or @backroom (generally just somewhere in LES)
11pm: Dance
1am: Dance cont.
2am: Pizza
One of the best thing about girl’s night (besides the pizza) is the pre-girl’s night shopping you get to do! Generally we head to TopShop in Soho (one of my favorite locations in the city) and pick out our outfit’s for the night. As it is (finally) spring, I opted for a simple white dress with some fun cutouts and a more “daring” top than I generally go for. I completed the look with a great pair of patterned platforms and scarf to “funky-it-up” a bit. Courtney opted for a shift dress so she could get cray on the dance floor without having to worry about yada yada yada.
For us, girl’s night is all about having fun with each other and not having to worry about what your boyfriend/crush/suitor is thinking about you. It’s the perfect excuse to play with your style while still remaining comfortable.
