It was a time for a change. Not personality wise.. I am pretty content with that aspect of my life! I had to go with something more vain, so of course I chose my hair. I recently dyed and cut my hair at one of the most amazing hair salons in NYC, Butterfly Studio Salon. I mean anywhere that offers coffee, wine AND Mike and Ikes are a winner in my book. I decided to take a personal day this past Friday and it was literally everything that I needed in my life. I tend to put a lot of pressure and stress on myself. I am your typical over thinker but one of the most passionate women you will ever meet. Getting used to work/life balance has been tough.. not going to lie. It is a transmission I wasn’t prepared for. No more $2 Tuesday’s in this world!!! So every once in awhile you need to recenter yourself, your goals, your passions, your thoughts. That is what I did. At the hair salon. I became re-balanced and realized life is way too short to not enjoy even the shittiest moments. To be honest I am a hater of the 7th day of the week. Known to many as Sunday. I am overly emotional, anxious and all around a bit of a basket case on that day. I have came to the realization that Sunday’s need to be spent as an all around personal day. Constantly double checking what it is you are striving for in your life. What is bringing you up.. KEEP IT.. What is dragging you… LEAVE IT. Life throws way to many curveballs… Trying to prepare for those.. FORGET IT. I’ve been shocked too many times to count. What sets me apart.. I live and learn. ALWAYS. We each have beautiful moments in life that is where we need to thrive and act upon.
