getting cocktail ready can be a bit tricky…especially in New York. In a
smaller apartment, you just have to work with what you are given. We
double our IKEA storage unit as
a bar and hors d’oeuvre area and really love the way it dresses
up our apartment. I like to decorate the bar area with gold ribbons and
ornaments to give a bit of holiday flare.

If you couldn’t tell by our blog name, Courtney and I love champagne, otherwise known as champs. Champs is the ultimate holiday drink and can be used to whip up some pretty epic holiday cocktails. This season, we are getting in the spirit and planning our holiday cocktail party with one of my personal favorites, Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut. See a couple champagne based holiday cocktail recipes below!
The Pomegranate Cava Martini
Pomegranate Cava Martini – Serves 4
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup Old Orchard Pomegranate Juice
1/2 cup of orange liqueur
Juice of 1 lemon

1/2 cup of orange liqueur
Freixenet Cava
Rosemary for garnish

Combine the lemon juice, Old Orchard pomegranate juice, and orange liqueur in a pitcher with ice. Stir
gently. Add pomegranate seeds to four cocktail glasses, fill halfway with the cocktail and top with
Freixenet Cava. Add a sprig of rosemary for garnish.

The Cinnamosa
Pour 1.5 ounces of Cinnamon Whisky into a glass with 3 ounces of Cordon Negro Brut Cava. Fill
remainder of glass with 1 ounce of blood orange juice. Garnish with orange peel.
