Wearing white in the winter can be just a wee bit tricky, sometimes even frowned upon. But if you know me and my style, you know that I don’t like to follow the archaic fashion rules featuring the ever so popular “no white after labor day.” Well goodbye grandma rule book and hello beautiful Trina Turk white jumpsuit.
I opted to wear this jumpsuit with this burnt orange Zara coat to add a hint of “Fall” to my outfit. While I probably should have worn a bigger jacket during this unusually windy day in central park, I just couldn’t resist the color blocking of the two solids! My trick to wearing white – pair with a Fall staple such as a heavy plaid scarf, fur vest or trench jacket to ensure you are still seasonally dressed.
If you follow us on instagram, (which you should – do it now) then you have been seeing these gorgeous Karen Walker sunglasses all over our page. We recently started using Shop Ditto which basically is a sunglasses renting service where you can switch and swap designer glasses any time you want. For style-hyperactive girls like us, this program is absolutely amazing because we get to try out so many different pairs! Use the code MIMOSASMANHATTAN for a exclusive one month free!

I'm a big proponent for wearing white after Labor Day. It's such an dated rule to not wear it, so I've chucked it out of my "fashion rule book". Ha! Love this outfit and how you've made it look fall-like with the burnt orange jacket.
