Finally settled in after our amazing trip to Jamaica staying @ Breathless Resorts Montego Bay! I wanted to bring you all through a day to day of what we did, what we enjoyed most and some of our favorite memories from the 4 day 3 night vacation. After our quick flight from NYC straight into Sangster International Airport, Breathless was only a mere 15 min ride via car to the resort. For this trip I travelled with our bff Lex of Lexicon of Style and my boyfriend Kyle! Trust us… we definitely got a lot of questioning looks pertaining to our group lol.
We were early for check in so myself & Lex wasted no time in changing into swimsuits, grabbing a pina colada (or 2) and heading to the pool. One of my favorite things was that the pool had a swim up bar where they had designated times for trivia, games and other ways to keep you entertained other than just laying out. Not to mention we also won the first round of trivia! Well I should actually rephrase that in that Kyle won the trivia for us.
When check in time arrived, we were brought up to our rooms & greeted by our personal Butler for the stay, Denis (incredible by the way). When we walked in I was so surprised in just how unique the rooms were. I am talking see through shower on all three sides people! One of our favorite amenities was the patio jacuzzi, which Denis set us up with champagne and rose petals for me and Lex. I mean you would’ve 100% thought Lex and I were on our Honeymoon.
That night we did dinner at Altitude, which sits on the rooftop of the hotel! Fun Fact: Breathless has the only rooftop pool of any hotel/resort in Montego Bay! The food at Altitude was amaze and our server, Romeo, went above and beyond. The dessert tray (pictured below) was a definite highlight!

On Friday we were able to enjoy room service breakfast on the balcony in our robes. And when I say room service, I mean I literally turned over in my bed, picked up an iPad and was able to place an order then and there. So easy. From breakfast we then enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. To then the afternoon where we attended the infamous foam party lol. So this was definitely something we were looking forward to in terms of this resort. When we stalked it via Instagram there were so many photos posted from this *foam party* and we were just SO CURIOUS. This part definitely felt almost like an adult spring break and at times we just couldn’t help but laugh but it was one of our absolute favorite parts of the trip by far!
That evening we enjoyed dinner at Sofrito, which was actually my favorite food wise of the stay! The salmon was absolutely to die for. I also recommend the beef tartare.
Saturday we decided to take a little bit easier. We wanted to spend some time at the beach, so we headed that way and went snorkling and paddle boarding. They have so many great amenities at the resort that in our shorter stay we didn’t really feel it necessary to leave the resort. We also got a tad unlucky on our Saturday weather and it thunder stormed for about 2.5 hours. However I have always known to make the best of every situation, so with that we headed to the spa! We each got 50 min deep tissue massages and that was truly the greatest lapse of luxury. We also were able to enjoy their indoor pools, sauna and jacuzzi due to the rain outside. Highly recommend if there is any bad weather in your stays forecast!
I was also SO happy that I packed my go to deodorant Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid because the heat was no joke in Jamaica – I mean it was the Caribbean in June. I suggest to use Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid just once a day for all-day strong wetness protection available at your nearest neighborhood Walgreens 🙂
Sunday unfortunately came around, which we were not looking forward to AT ALL. We were off, after another round of breakfast room service of course and to the airport.
Overall I would highly recommend this beautiful resort and country to anyone looking for a getaway vacation. If you have any pending questions after reading my blog please feel free to reach out on Instagram @CourtandKelly or email at mimosasandmanhattan@gmail.com 🙂
