Talk about a graduation present… THANKS MOM! Ugh. Las Vegas… What a place, please refer to this Buzzfeed article before continuing. As many people are on their first trip to Sin City, I completely had no clue of what to expect. All I knew was that it was 5:30am and I was eating flatbread pizza outside the Mirage Casino with my 6 girl friends and two random guys, shoot. There is this unbelievable sense in Vegas where you lose all track of time and well-being. Some people say it is because they pump oxygen through the hotels, while others think it could just be the over all atmosphere. Whatever it is, it got me!
My group, which included 6 of my best friends & sorority sisters, stayed at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. We absolutely loved it. It included everything you could possible need or want, which means they had a 24 hour breakfast place, which we frequented often. (Sorry to anyone who saw us there Thursday or Friday night). We also visited their BLT Stack Restaurant Saturday night, located in the lobby, for a nice dinner. 2 words: Oreo Milkshake. It was a perfect meal for 6 very hungover girls! Thursday night and Friday day we enjoyed the pool and DJ at Encore Beach Club located at the Wynn Hotel. We enjoyed bottle service, chicken tenders, swan floats and FREE LULI FAMA BIKINI’S! I was so excited about this that I actually changed into mine immediately, see green suit above. That night we traveled to MGM Hotel and Casino where we partied at Hakkasan their in-house night club. That particular night Tiesto was performing, and we had (THE EXTREME) luck of being asked to join his VIP table, directly behind him. Photo above. I mean at this point.. I LOVE LAS VEGAS! Talk about saving money on drinks! The following Saturday was a huge struggle but we were able to make it to the Cosmopolitan where we enjoyed the Marquee Pool and DJ Vice. Marquee was unique to Vegas because it was located on top of their roof, which reminded me a lot of New York. The only downside was that it was literally 108 degrees outside. On our way home from the Cosmo we decided to walk back to the Mirage and were lucky enough to catch the Bellagio Fountain Show, which is truly an incredible sight to see.
Make sure you check out the Las Vegas Hotel’s page, where you will find the lowest price guaranteed!
Sin City definitely got the best of me, but the memories I made with such amazing friends could never be greater. I am so lucky at the opportunities to travel and see the US this summer. Cannot wait for our M&M family reunion in Los Angeles this weekend!
