This has been such a tough month for many reasons. It is hard to get your thoughts in order of what is truly going on in this country. We have seen everything from the inspiring Women’s March to protests around the nation at every major airport. We have become infuriated by facebook posts and upset over tweets. To the point that the only thing that is truly making us smile anymore is the fact that Beyoncé is pregnant with twins.
I am learning that there is SO much that is out of our control but there are so many ways we can fight this fight together. As upset as I have been this January, I have also been extremely inspired! Inspired by what us “little people” can do and achieve. The limit does not exist! We are stronger together and we are stronger when we exude peace, love & acceptance.

I am learning that we can share only so many social media posts and articles but that isn’t making me feel any better inside. What is making me feel better is TALKING about it. Talking with my family, my friends and my loved ones and discussing the facts of these topics. Also taking part in the marches, the protests and getting out there and being with other women/men that share the same ideals. I also have felt so much solitude in donating. I began donating x$ amount every month to a charity that is very close to my heart, Planned Parenthood. They need that amount of money more than I need a new pair of shoes every month and giving them that makes me feel like I am making a small but mighty difference.
