About this dress tho!!! This was one of our early morning shoots
in Union Square Park which is a fave btw. I used to live in the NYU
apartments right on the Square when I interned at Macy’s. Shoutout to
Carlyle Hall! Looking back I took so much advantage of that location.
Never knew how good I had it! When searching for the perfect location to
shoot this dress I couldn’t help but think the sunrise in the park
would perfectly accent this dress. I don’t think I have ever twirled so
much in one garment of clothing in my life! Which isn’t even the best
park because it also has pockets.

Skincare | La Prairie – All products I used on my face for this shoot are pictured above 🙂
So I decided to switch things up a little and talk about my skin over my clothes. To be honest (and I hate saying this) but I have never really had bad skin problems. I have always gotten by, with your everyday drugstore face wash & lotions. Never really caring about the makeup I put on or even remembering to wash my face before bed. Of course this all changed when I moved out of the fresh aired Midwest and into the dirtiest city in the world.. good ol’ New York. I decided it was time I should actually invest in a quality product for my face. I turned to a bit of an upscale line called La Prairie. (you can access all products by clicking here). It has been so easy to use and an easy step that has became natural for myself every morning. Which in turn is what I really want out of a makeup line!
Moral of the story… I found my perfect combo. Easy to wear/feel makeup and skincare that still makes me feel natural and not caked on. Mixed with a beautiful/twirl-able maxi. What’s your favorite combo?! Would love to hear your thoughts in our comment box 🙂
xoxo
