THIS DRESS!!! I know. But you also don’t know. I could never in a millions years afford this beautiful piece of working art at retail price. Luckily I had enough liquid courage one (bottomless mimosa brunch) Saturday afternoon that at the Vivienne Westwood Sample Sale I bought it. In my defense it was 90% off of $1,000. So I take that as a for sure win-win. I also do not own anything designer/nice/actually worth something, so it was nice to invest in an iconic piece like this. Not to mention Vivienne Westwood has been my favorite designer since seeing the MET Costume Gala Punk Show a couple years ago. She truly creates walkable art and is unique to any other designer I know. I feel so confident when wearing this dress. Which has been ONCE so far. (so scared to get something on it!!)
