SURPRISE! This post is featuring my little sister Meredith! Meredith was lucky enough to come to New York the morning of one of our shoot’s and we basically made her carry all of our clothes around the entire day. Lucky her. But I made sure we got some v cute shots together as well as some solo’s. Sometimes I forget myself how awkward it is what we do. We literally walk around New York City trying to look as candid as possible while millions of people walk by.. silently judging. This is something I have luckily become immune too but my sister experienced for the first time. When meeting up with fellow blogger Payton of Hustle & Halcyon this past weekend, we shared our early experiences of blogging with each other. It is funny how quickly people’s perception’s of what you are creating can change. When I first started M&M my friends from school didn’t get it. As supportive as some of the girls were, there were an equal amount that didn’t understand. I think there is an amazing, amazing amount of confidence and strong will you have to have when doing what we do. You can’t care what people think. If you do… basically.. you will fail. Payton and I connected on that we honestly just don’t care. We love this weird/awkward life and I think success will just follow that. Although I cannot sit here and say it has never bothered me. That is natural. It has just to the extent you can allow!!
