I was lucky enough to get to spend my Memorial Day Weekend with one of my best friends from college, Tess, in LA! Both mine and Kelly’s moms each grew up outside of Santa Monica in the Pacific Palisades, so we have ventured there many a times since I was old enough to walk. My earliest memories of LA will always be spending time with my Poppa and family at The Beach Club, right off of PCH. It was and still is one of my favorite places in the world. So I knew that when traveling out there for the weekend I needed to shoot a few beach looks at a place that is so near and dear to my families hearts, especially after the passing of my Poppa.
I shot three separate beach looks for the three different vibes I love when heading out West or to the beach for a few days! All looks were shot @ The Beach Club by the HILARIOUS, amazing, super talented Haley Ringo!!
Starting with the one piece that made me LOVE one pieces!! This absolutely adorable, retro vibing Primark suit. I felt this tropical print couldn’t be complete without a corona but then again.. no beach look can be complete without a beer and a lime. I paired this back to my favorite sunglasses of the moment!

My style has always been a lot more on the laid back side, so when going to the beach I never want to be to.. “out there” for lack of a better term. I love wearing my high waisted shorts with a bikini top and playing volleyball or drinking beers with friends. I love this particular look because I was able to pair my favorite new light wash boyfriend jeans with a new bikini top cut! Perfect for beach chilling and having a sweatshirt on deck for when it gets cold.

My final summer beach look is the quintessential beach cover up. Through the years I have collected my fair share, and also lost my fair share (sophomore spring break in ft. laudy was victim to 3.. oops). I have recently purchased this gorgeous dress from Alice & Trixie @ a higher ticket, but also shared a few affordable items I have had my eyes on!
