There is a very fine line between wearing the tie-waist and looking chic and wearing the tie-waist and looking like a forty year old man about to hop on Magic Mountain at Disneyland. Rocking the 90’s waist wrap proves itself a lot easier when the ‘wrap’ is not in fact its’ own article of clothing, but rather faux sleeves…because why not? With Summer (finally) here, I am ditching my extra layers and opting for the faux sleeves on my dresses, skirts and even shorts.

I've never actually heard of a faux sleeve shirt, I guess that definitely proves I'm old! Well, that and I wore shirts tied around my waist in the actual 90s. Ahem, yes I am a crone of sorts. 😛
