Summer is upon us which means the traveling is about to begin! I am so excited because this weekend I am packing up and heading off to Jamaica for a long weekend getaway. When you think travel essentials for Jamaica you don’t necessarily think a bomber jacket but here are my reasons why this jacket is my travel must-have. First and foremost, I always (no matter what) freeze in the airport and especially on the plane. But I just can’t bare the thought of packing a huge sweater or jacket for a tropical vacation. Second, because the bomber is lighter it easily folds up and fits in my suitcase so I don’t have to turn away from a little bit of shopping at the beach boutiques!  Lastly, New York weather is so unpredictable that I can’t even count the number of times I have landed back in the city with a fresh suntan (well usually burn) and am freezing to death because why wouldn’t it be 30 degrees in May?

Safe travels to you all this coming Summer! We can’t wait to share with you all some of the places we are going together, such as Santa Barbara – July 4th Weekend!!
