So it has been a few weeks since our Las Vegas trip with the Palms Resort & Casino and we are just now fully recovered lol. We were so excited to learn that the Palms has recently gone under a major renovation & by renovation I mean they quite literally gutted out rooms/restaurants/bars and rebuilt. From Dust to Gold they called it – and that may just be the best hashtag I have seen a company use. Pretty much ever.
On our first night we wined, dined and met A LOT of people. We were so excited when we saw that Anthony of Oh Antonio was on the trip with us, he is such a great soul and absolutely hilarious. His best friend Justin Livingston, who at that time we had never met, was along with and we all instantly clicked. I say time and time again that the best part about blogging are the people you meet. This is not to say that you don’t always run into winners like Anthony and Justin, there are bad eggs but we have been lucky to find the great ones.

The four of us enjoyed AMAZING food at the newly opened Scotch 80, and then headed off to the Palm’s in house residence, APEX Social Club. And this club is unlike any other I have been to in Vegas. Since the Palms is off the Las Vegas Strip, APEX, which is atop of the roof the main Palms Tower, gave us some of the most amazing views of the city. At night it was almost jaw dropping. We sang, danced, drank and got to witness a surprise performance by J.Cole. To say the least we were all on Cloud 9. We ended the night with rounds of 10 piece nuggets from McDonalds.
The following day we were able to enjoy the pool, the pool bar and the all you can eat buffet. This was our first ACYE buffet experience probably ever but holy shit is it cheap lol. All the other times in Vegas and we have never taken advantage of this, which will definitely never happen again.
Overall one of our favorite moments was getting to see all of the art that the Palms has to offer. There are pieces by Warhol, Kaws and Basquiat. There is a stall in the women’s restaurant that resembles a barbie dream house and a piece that covers the entire wall made entirely of butterflies. Not to mention that he PALMS letters in the above photos are actually art made to resemble balloons – CRAZY RIGHT?!
Overall we definitely recommend the Palms Casino for your next girls trip to Vegas. Kelly and I had truly the best time and a trip that really will cherish before Kelly moves off to LA.
