As everyone & everything this season.. it is all about the metallic’s. In particular liquid metallic’s. We began to see this trend down the fall shows of Calvin Klein & Versace last February and yes indeed it has trickled its way into the fast fashions of the world. See below toolbar of where to shop this trend IN MANY WAYS easily! The jacket I have on is from one of Kelly and I’s favorite emerging designers, Alyson Eastman. We were so lucky to have met Alyson when we first moved to NYC and garner this relationship with someone that inspires us so much. She has such a great collaboration of everything from leather jacket to pleated pieces. We were lucky enough to grab jackets for NYFW a few weeks ago. (And a few weeks after tbh.)

ALSO QUICK SIDE NOTE: I REACHED MY 1 YEAR OF NYC LIVING. So crazy to think it has come and gone so fast. But I guess that is what being an adult feels like. When anyone asks I always am completely honest in what this first year has been like.. tough, inspiring, high, lows, loving, anxiety filled, yet proving to myself what truly I can do and what inspires me to do so. I have learned to balance working full time as well as this website. Meeting new friends and creating life long relationships with so many great friends (I may have taken that line from my senior year sorority letter). Not to mention… S/o to Kyle for being my rock. So lucky for you!! ALSO memories because living in NYC in nothing compared to living in Indiana (haha). I feel like this is the first of many but I really can’t be too sure.. because I am learning life changes so quickly. In the blink of an eye. But fot this moment I am looking forward to this next year and what this city can bring me. Hopefully mimosas, manhattan & laughs. (Call me Carrie plz).
