Truth be told here guys.. I took a long vaca from the gym when moving to NYC. I think it was mostly due to just feeling so busy ALL the time. I wanted to explore everything and do everything oh and there’s that little thing called sleep. My typical Monday-Friday was going to work then heading out to blog events then crashing when I got home. Or I was rushing home to write a post or see friends.. somewhere in all of that I lost track of the whole “taking care of myself aspect.” This also caused a LOT and I mean a LOT of anxiety in my life. I can generally always control it but with the constant go-go-go lifestyle I was losing control. After talking with a few people about it they said the #1 way to start gaining control again (without the help of medication) is working out. As silly as it sounds the endorphins ARE REAL. Therefor I wanted to dedicate a post (even though this has NOTHING TO DO WITH MY OUTFIT) to the studios and gyms I have discovered on this little journey!
But I still hope you enjoy my rainbow fur coat!! Here are a few more options 🙂

Pilates Studios
NYP Pilates in Bowery – You may have recently seen this on our Instagram act and that is because I am obsessed!! This is their brand new studio and it is stunning. White walls, candles lit, the whole 9 yards! I definitely recommend their Abs, Arms, Ass class. You leave FEELING it. If you can get the instructor Rhyse.. he rocks. Not an easy class but worth the $. And as expensive as Pilates studios are these days you want your workout to be WORTH it.
East River Pilates in Williamsburg – Living in Williamsburg I wanted to find a studio that was close by and home-y. Your typical Willysburg vibe. I fell in love with their reformer classes and enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the studio. They are extremely hands on and helpful as well!!
Cardio Studios
RIPPED Fitness in Upper East Side – Alright. This guy. I will swear on my life (not sponsored) this was THE hardest work out I have had in a proclaimed “workout class”. I also receive a therapy session in each class so ya kno kill 2 birds with 1 stone! I loved everything about this place. The treadmill cardio workout, the arms, the abs, the legs. They DO NOT miss a beat! Make sure to take a class with Brian or Nick. You really will not regret it, but your body probably will the next day.
