As Summer is FINALLY approaching I wanted to round up a few date night ideas & spots for all of you NYC couples, those dating or even those going on a first date. Hope one of these makes a lasting impression. 🙂
Kick Axe Throwing: I don’t know if Bravo made this all the rage as of late, but definitely an idea to get you and your date out of your comfort zone. The Brooklyn location was recently shown on Bravo’s Summer House and they both walked in single and left dating! Who knew axe throwing could have this effect?!
The Brooklyn Kitchen: For my birthday one year Kyle surprised me with a pizza making cooking class via The Brooklyn Kitchen! It was such a fun date and the food we made was AMAZING. They also offered a variety of classes from Dumplings to Pasta. I highly recommend the Williamsburg location. 🙂
Korean BBQ – This is such a fun way to mix up your average dinner date night. I personally am a huge fan of Korean food and we are so blessed in NYC to have Koreatown right in the center of Manhattan. I highly recommend Samwon Garden if looking for the best choice!
Color Factory – Located on Spring Street in Soho this is great date night idea for a rainy summer day in NYC. I still have yet to go but all I have heard was great reviews from friends who have gone! Also a very good option if going on a date night with kids in tow.
The Magician – Located inside The NoMad Hotel and currently some of the most coveted tickets in New York City. Jimmy Fallon calls it “Unforgettable” and tickets generally sell out within 10 seconds of being posted. They currently have availability for end of June and July and you bet I am trying my hardest to get 2!
Rosé Mansion – The water of summer am I right?! My personal favorite NYC mansion reopens June 1st with 14 new interactive and instagrammable rooms. As well as over 120 different wines!! I highly suggest for a fun happy hour spot. 🙂 **Also you can put your significant other to work on getting the ideal shot!**
Yankees/Mets Game – I know this is more of an obvious option but I am including because Kyle and I just went to a game this past Monday and I forgot how much fun summer baseball games were. Even if you aren’t a huge sports fan the stadiums have so many amazing food & drink options to keep you well entertained!
The Heath – For those New Yorker’s reading I am sure you have done or are familiar with the interactive theater sensation Sleep No More – well SURPRISE – the founders have recently opened a restaurant spinoff called The Heath located within the McKittrick Hotel in Chelsea. It is openly nightly and also offers fabulous live music and a great alternative to Sleep No More if that is out of your budget for a date night!
