And just like that Fall is upon us! It is crazy to think I am already taking midterms and almost half way through this semester. October (like any other girl) is one of my favorite months of the year. The two biggest reasons being candy corn and football! I also cannot think of a better place to be when the leaves start to change than in Bloomington, Indiana. I feel very blessed around this time of year to be able to call this place my home. The people, the places, the tailgates, the food, the smells. It couldn’t be more perfect. As excited as I am to study abroad in Florence, Italy this next semester I will miss the simplicity of Bloomington and its small town feel.
For one of of my first outfits of the fall I couldn’t be more excited to wear this thrift shop boy scout hunter green jacket I borrowed from my very stylish friend Sarah Welsh! It is so vintage that the name of the boy scout is still sewn into the back. Hunter green is the color of the moment! While shopping for fall looks make sure to pick out some keys items in this color. Whether is be a anorak, army jacket, long sleeve sweater, or simple tee. I paired this jacket with a white knit Costa Blanca tank and my staple H&M leather pants. I am and always will be a huge leather fan. I able to dress up and dress down any outfit with these and they have come in VERY MUCH handy through many college nights (drink spills slide right off) . I topped the look off with a Forever 21 cross tie head band and Necessary Clothing bootie heels.
