This past week, I had the chance to escape the city and head
down south to Staunton, Virginia.
Staunton holds a very special place in my heart as I went to Stuart Hall School my junior and senior year of high school and where my
grandmother has lived for the past twenty years. The town is small but rich with culture,
music, theater and food. This town and school expanded my mentality and helped
me find my passions in Shakespeare, music, history and just overall learning.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Stonewall Jackson Hotel in downtown Staunton. The
hotel, which originally opened in 1924, was lively with gorgeous weddings, decadent brunches all while maintaining
the serenity and calmness of the small town. We explored my favorite places in Staunton and I couldn’t wait to share some peeks
into my childhood with you all! If you are visiting the gorgeous little town make sure to check out some of these spots!
