So the lighting with these pictures.. beyond perfection. Although it sucks to wake up at 6am during the week to do photoshoot’s it pays off in the fact that we get to score this beyond words lighting. We are so excited to show you more from this shoot series but for now, lets talk Halloween. Ugh. Some people love this holiday, some people hate it. I have always fell in the in-between. I do LOVE to dress up. Last year I went as Left Shark and LITERALLY got hit on more than I ever have in my life and the year before that I did a make shift Kat Von D which I loved. I must admit though.. it is hard to stay creative. Truth be told I have no clue what I am being this year and Halloween is this freakin weekend. However like always I will figure it out. The more important question on hand.. where the eff do you even go in New York?!?! This city is huge and there are so many parties. Chances are we will most likely end up just going to a house party or BK bars but we wanted to round up some fun events that will be happening this Halloweekend for you all!!
Jukebox The Ghost – HALLOQUEEN (Williamsburg Music Hall) – 2nd Annual show put on by the band Jukebox The Ghost on Halloween Weekend. This Brooklyn venue is sick and there will be an immense amount of Queen covers. Need we say more?! Tickets are $25.
GALANTIS HALLOWEEN (Brooklyn Warehouse) – If you are realllly looking to party.. literally go no further. Galantis will be throwing down in the Brooklyn Warehouse. Where EDM dreams go to thrive. (my boyfriend almost talked me into this.. still contemplating) Tickets start @ $40.
The Official Haunted Mansion Party (Hell’s Kitchen) – For all the Manhattenite’s out there here is place just for you! You can get your drank on with a full open bar as well as the spooky chills & thrills of a haunted house. If you are just in the mood to get your Halloween drink on check out Ainsworth Midtown’s party.
For those not looking to drink but still indulge in the NYC October fun, see below for events!
The Great Jack O Lantern Blaze – A lot of damn lit up pumpkins. Tickets are $20.
Candlelight Tours of The Merchant’s House Museum (Lower East Side) – It is haunted and it is scary. Tickets are between $25-$35.
You can shop some more of my favorite comfy gray sweaters (and 1 orange because I couldn’t resist) below.. 🙂
