We are so excited as we were recently featured on YouBeauty in an article titled, “How To Wear Matching Sets When You Are on the Petite side.” While of course, we drool over Taylor Swifts “insured legs,” not all of us can be blessed with such magnificent stems, so I have offered a few tips on how to wear the coordinating clothes even if you are on the shorter side.
The above photos were taken at one of my favorite places in LA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) at the Urban Light sculpture. While I absolutely love this trend, I usually have to pair with heels so the “matchiness” does not overwhelm my body. Being a tourist for the day however, the last thing I wanted on my feet were a pair of uncomfortable heels. With a short and jacket combo, its easier to wear a flat and break up the look with a solid color shirt so your body does not look like a fabric store just regurgitated it’s swatches onto your body. I picked up this gorgeous two piece set from Zara at The Grove in
Beverley Hills. I fell in love
with this combo a couple months ago and rediscovered it this past week at the
amazing Zara sale going on right now!
Evenings in Los Angeles get quite chilly – so this trench set was
absolutely perfect for an afternoon into evening transition look.

That setting is amazing! I love the deep orange color and how unique that set is with the trench!
