Among other very important things to New York City living, we take storage very seriously for our prized possessions. One major possession being *wine storage.* Between four girls there is A LOT of vino drank in this tiny apartment and half empty bottles were constantly being left all around our home. We needed to find a solution to make this dignified catastrophe cute, organized and a place where we could keep our prized possession safe!! Thanks to the help of Fab.com we found just that! We were able to upgrade our everyday in 4 simple steps. First… We made a bridge (yes a bridge) of wine. Shop it HERE.
Yay is right. Next we added in some fun new champagne flutes! I don’t know about you guys but we have broken just about every nice wine glass we have gotten since moving in. It was nice to finally add a playoff side to our self-made bar cart. We loved the contrast of gold against the glass and the pop it gives to the overall set. ALSO!! These are dishwasher safe!! Can we all just scream YAY together on that one!
So I guess becoming an adult (in the real world) means you need to invest in these things called *coasters.* I however still do not use them for the right reason, I merely place my drink beside them instead of on them, but I get the point!! These in particular I love because they are thin, come in a big pack and are great for parties. Or we just set them out when we want to look fancy 🙂
Lastly we touch the cart off with this gorgeous artisan BAR serving tray. We have chocolates populating it currently, but for entertaining purposes it can hold fruits, veggies, berries, nuts, etc. We thought this was the perfect finishing touch accompanied by the champagne flutes. As much as we really do love entertaining – we understand – it can also be a hassle. You find yourself buying the most pointless things and you wonder why you decided to have people over in the first place. That’s when we have found sites like Fab.com so useful. It is ever changing and unique that every time you visit you find something new and exciting. It can be as simple as a bridge shelf to store wine or our coasters.
