Hi errrybody! Sorry it has been awhile. Ugh. We have been not as up to speed as we would like to be as of late on the blog. With NYFW and Kelly going to Europe for LFW so much of our content has gotten pushed back. However! We are so excited to be back in the city together and creating, creating, CREATING!
As video content has, all of the sudden, seen this major upgrade in the influencer/digital world, we have began to focus a lot of our time and energy here. We have been working with a team of videographers on creating a lot of great pieces to share with you all VERY soon! So make sure to subscribe to our YOUTUBE CHANNEL HERE. Yay!
Okay so now that, that short ramble of life is over… On to today’s topic. I have randomly been thinking and appreciating how important the people I have in my life that aren’t in this digital world. A lot of the times on our blog we speak to our blogger friends/ blogger besties, that mean SO MUCH to us, but rarely we give praise to the friends we have outside of that bubble. I for one would not be sane without these people.
For starters… My boyfriend Kyle, he is the best, but what I love most about him is that he has no idea what the hell is going on when I take him to blogger events or try to include him on my Instagram Stories. As some girlfriends would become quickly annoyed with that, I honestly THANK GOD for it. He is normal. He keeps me leveled. If he was strangely caught up in all of this I would have no outlet to go to to just… NOT TALK ABOUT INSTAGRAM for 5 seconds.
I am also so freakin incredibly blessed to have high school besties, college besties that are completely unrelated to this world. They remind me when I get caught up in the numbers of it all… that it is OKAY. To think about it all in the grand scheme of things. There are times when we all just need to step back and honestly come back down to Earth. This applies to bloggers as well as just you readers out there in general. I am learning now @ 24 years old how important friendships are in my life. I need those girls to have laugh with and have fun with. To go to Saturday brunch with and make memories of living in this city.
It is SO EASY to get caught up in work. To make work the focus of your entire world. But if we do not have the life outside of work to drive WHY we are working so hard – does it even really matter anyway?
SHOP COURT’S LOOKS

So basically the point of my WHOLE RANT is just a friendly reminder to cherish all of the friends and people you love in life. Especially with how the world it right now – so many things can change in the blink of an eye. We need to live and embrace every moment we are with our loved ones 🙂
