Heading to Miami soon? Good. I recently got back from Miami and had the absolute best time. We had some of the best food and went to some V Instagrammable spots. The last time I was in Miami I was 12 years old, so safe to say it was a bit different this time around.
This.place.was.made.for.Instagram. Seriously, I have never seen another restaurant like it. Every single corner was covered in florals, throw pillows, chandeliers and aesthetic glassware. I highly recommend calling at least a couple weeks ahead of time and make a reservation for “off hours” because this place really gets packed. Both the indoor and outdoor space are stunning so it really doesn’t matter where you are seated. Hot tip: order the rose water pancakes (pictured above). They are both picture-ready and delicious!
Outdoor window shopping and people watching? Count me in. The Miami Design District boasts your typical high-end brands with beautifully designed storefronts. In covid times, there were lines to get into certain stores but I believe you can book appointments ahead of time if you have specific brands you want to shop!
Located in the middle of the Miami Design District, this coffee shop is the perfect midday shopping pick-me-up. The location, of course, is a vibe and you most likely will stumble upon the tik tokers of Miami.
If you want to break up your day, Candle Land is a great activity for a large group. It’s absolutely gorgeous and who doesn’t love making a candle? Plus, the staff were super friendly and fun! It takes about an hour to make the candle and then another hour for it to dry. While you wait for it to dry, there is tons of shopping and mural hoping in Wynwood (which I loved – kinda felt like Brooklyn!).
ASTRA rooftop is the perfect spot for sunset cocktails. The roof is huge and sorta has two vibes depending on where you are seated – “lounge” and “clubby.” Get the ‘Astra to the Moon’ or ‘Mediterranean Sunet’ cocktails!
Ok you guys…This place was hands down one of my favorite spots. It’s like Tao, meets the beach, meets a dualing piano bar. Aka my heaven. Book a dinner reservation around 8:30 or 9pm and you can STAY at the table without paying for bottle service. I got the Shrimp tacos and the Zamna (house gin and tonic) and both were absolutely delicious! Typically a club table at a similar venue runs around a few thousand dollars but we only spent about $150 for dinner and drinks and were able to stay at the table when the venue started to turn up around 10pm!
The blogger staple. This location is apart of the Nobu Hotel and right on the beach. Get the avocado pizza for the table to start. I got shrimp tacos (again I know) which were good but not amazing. It’s mostly about the vibe. Afterwards, you can head directly down to the beach and there are tons of chair options for laying out!
On Friday night, we happened to meet the GM of Milos which is a beautiful Mediteranean-inspired restaurant in South Beach. Luckily he was able to get us reservations for Saturday night but I HIGHLY recommend booking in advance as far as possible. It’s a chic celeb hot spot and if you don’t see someone there, you will certainly see them at one of the surrounding lounges. It’s a bit more formal so I would opt for a dress/skirt or button down for guys! Get the Milos special, The Greek Spreads and The Greek Salad for the table to start!
Baia Beach Club is located in South Beach at The Mondrian Hotel. And let me tell you, it does not disappoint. The restaurant overlooks the water and is far enough from the pool area so it feels separate from the “scene.” I had SO much fun here, the vibe was great and the staff were super friendly! We did bottomless mimosas and I never wanted to leave.
My friend Ali who hosted us for the weekend sent over a few more options that she recommends. While we didn’t hit the below, I wanted to include since she put together our full itinerary and obviously knows the spots to go to!
